Return Policy

We are automotive enthusiasts and racers ourselves, so we know first-hand things come up when planning/executing projects. We are committed to doing everything we can to work WITH our customers.

All returns must have prior approval from Plimpton Innovations and must have an RMA issued. To obtain an RMA please contact us via email at jimmy@plimptoninnovations.com. Any items being returned without an RMA may be returned to the sender.

Fullfillment Error

If fulfillment mistakes are made from shipment of incorrect products to you: reach out to us and we will do our best to get the correct products out to you the same day we are contacted! We typically send a USPS return label in the corrected shipment to minimize any inconvenience to you and speed up the entire process. Please use the label supplied or you may be charged you for the incorrect products you received.

Order Error

If material has been ordered incorrectly, please contact us and we will do our very best to assist you.

Sensors Related Returns

We take great pride in our offerings and will accept returns of our sensor products that are defective caused by manufacturing and/or workmanship for a generous 6-months! We also understand project timelines may shift, so if your timeline has slid past the 6-month and you no longer want it, please reach out and we'll do the best we can to make it right.

All Other Returns

Please reach out to us and we'll do the best we can to make it right. In general, these policies are in place to protect our hard earned reputation and the next buyer if an item restocked.

To mitigate the need for any type of "Restocking Fees", we will not accept returns after an extremely generous 60 days from date of purchase. All items being returned must have an issued RMA Number. Any item that appears it was opened, tampered with, or otherwise altered from its original condition will not be returnable. Any package that was refused by the receiver will not be eligible for return.
